Thank you for helping me coordinate the wedding at The Gallery – it was such a success and you and your team serve the credit. The venue manager was especially helpful on the night and made all my guests and my family feel so supported and listened to. For that I’m very grateful! And also a huge thanks to the team who helped us pack up and carry our belongings downstairs while we waited for an uber – we tried to tip him but he humbly declined. His integrity and kindness is to be applauded.

Thank you all so much for helping me execute my wedding vision – Martha, you made the process so easy and your timely responses to my many questions made the wedding planning so much easier. So thank you so much!

We also heard fantastic things from our guests regarding the staff and the food – usually wedding food can taste not as great due to the time pressure and quantity prepared but everyone loved it! Particularly the main dish beef short rib – it was bomb!

We cannot express enough how absolutely grateful we are for everything The Deckhouse (Dedes Group) and all involved were in the planning and the organisation of the wedding.

From the day we stepped into the venue over a year ago to ask if the date was available to the very last minute last Sunday morning just after midnight, it was such a pleasure. You all made us feel very special and were very accommodating, making the whole experience much more relaxing than we expected.

So many wonderful memories made and you and the staff at The Deckhouse are to be commended.

We are looking forward to sharing many more celebrations with you in the future.

We had a company Christmas Party held at View by Sydney last weekend. From the start, Alicia and Alannah were both so easy to deal with.  Nothing ever an issue, quick to respond and very friendly and knowledgeable. The event itself was wonderful, our event coordinator Sanaa was excellent, friendly, nothing ever an issue even with all the changes I made all night, she was service with a lovely smile which made my life so much easier. Food was fantastic.  Service was excellent on the night considering we had a big crowd of 160+ people. View was to die for and a hit with our staff. Will definitely recommend them for anyone who is looking for somewhere memorable and will definitely be back again to book a function.

THANK YOU!! I had the pleasure of working with Sanaa and the team last week and what a dream team they all were! The set up was quick and efficient, the service was all done with a smile, and everyone worked to create a beautiful day for my clients. The space by itself is so great, with its exposed beams and industrial vibe, and it also provides a clean, bright backdrop to add personal touches as well. When we dropped items off to Leah the day before, she was more than happy to give us a tech-run of the projector screens and show us around. Thank you, I can’t wait to work with you again!

We can’t thank everyone enough for the outstanding professionalism throughout! Working with the friendly Dedes team removed the stress of organising a Birthday Party and also Surprise Wedding and made it fun beginning to end. The team couldn’t do enough on the day. The venue decor was amazing – I would recommend the decor options! Substantial food platter options were a real hit too! Food was exceptional! The bar staff made sure no one’s glass ran dry and we have received nothing but positive feedback from guests regarding the venue, staff, food, and drink. Cannot fault! The only downer is that the celebrations had to come to an end! Thank you again, we will be sure to book for our corporate events going forward!

We would like to say Thank you Alahna, Manuele and all the DH team who made our Wedding day so special! Everything was so beautiful and better than we could ever have expected! We were so impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. Manuele did an amazing job and was so attentive and helpful. It was such a plus to have him as our event coordinator and being able to speak both Italian and Spanish helped us and our guests enormously. A magic experience from the parking supervisors through to finishing with coffee and fresh fruit. All staff were welcoming and engaging from the moment we walked through the door making a fuss over an elderly person in a wheelchair. The food was superb, starting with canapes, individual fresh seafood plates, beef short rib, desert, and fresh fruit.  All dishes were fresh and flavoursome. Lunch included a broad selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beers and wines.Thank you and well done to the Dekhouse crew and Dedes Group.

Always a delight to work with the Deckhouse team. The Owner and Staff are so helpful and friendly. Perfect view, food and coffee!

If the harbour views from Deckhouse Woolwich don’t win you over instantly, the delicious food and impeccable service will seal the deal! I can’t imagine celebrating anywhere else and certainly look forward to interacting with the considerate team again.

This was the first time I’d been to the Deckhouse for my Uncle Dan’s 90th birthday party. What a lovely, scenic spot on the harbour! Dan was so impressed with Deckhouse he staged his 80th birthday here 10 years ago – a repeat offender! Now I’m planning to have my 80th and 90th birthdays here too! 🙂

Hi Alahna!

Myself and Hayden just wanted to thank you and the deckhouse for everything on the lead up and the wedding night.

Everything came exactly how I pictured it would and we had so many of our friends and family say what a truly beautiful and different venue it was.

We also wanted to give a special mention to Manu, our event manager for the night. He was outstanding! The whole bridal party loved him, he was over everything and cool calm and collected the whole time. He had a laugh with us all night and sorted out our MC when he was late. He was honestly the best person there. Please give our thanks to him!

Compliments to the chef and kitchen too. We had a lot of guests message us the following days saying usually the food at weddings is average but our food was amazing, fresh and just simply delicious!

Overall though we have had an amazing time working with you to plan our dream wedding, and that’s exactly what we got! Thank you again and we can’t wait to come have brekkie or lunch at deckhouse again!
