Con Dedes, is a philanthropist with diverse business interests. He has the built Dedes Waterfront Group from basic principles of great service, dedicated staff and the very best produce available seasonally. These qualities are exemplified through all of Dedes Waterfront Group’s venues and concepts.
Gavin Carfax Foster
Gavin started as Culinary Director with Dedes in 2017 has more than 25 years of premium hospitality experience. In 2020 Gavin became the Group Operations Manager for Dedes Waterfront Group and oversees 7 dining and event venues across Sydney.
Anthony started chefing when was 15 at the Michelin starred L'ecrivain restaurant in Dublin. He won silver at the World Food Championships, headed up commercial kitchens on cruise ships and has now been with Dedes Waterfront Group since 2017.
Alahna has been with Dedes Waterfront Group as our Events Coordinator for 3 years. She’s personally overseen more than 300 weddings delivering exceptional experiences for her clients and their guests.
Jo is the Reservations Manager at Dedes Waterfront Group. She’s the friendly voice on the phone for the hundreds of dining reservations we take every week. Jo started as a waitress at Watergrill Abbotsford in 2010 and hasn’t looked back since.
Tim started with Dedes Waterfront Group in 2019 and oversees all Marketing activity for the business. Tim is a consultant and has more than 20 years hospitality experience in Australia and internationally.
Sanaa has been with Dedes Waterfront Group now for since 2013 and is one of the longest serving team members in the group. Starting out running dishes to tables for events she has progressed to be an Events Manager at Deckhouse and View By Sydney.
Amanda has been working with Dedes Watefront Group since 2018. She has more than 10 years experience in sales and oversees all event bookings at Deckhouse, View By Sydney at Watergrill Abbotsford.
Anne has been with Dedes Waterfront Group since 2018. She has spent 6 years working in financial services and prior to working with at Dedes Waterfront Group, she worked in the medical sector.
Boris is the manager of Deckhouse and View By Sydney. He manages the spaces and teams for both dining and events at the venues. Boris started with the company in 2020 and has more than 10 years experience in premium hospitality.
